We bring to advertisers and sponsors a targeted, relevant audience of Canadian marketers, advertising agencies, industry suppliers and general business decision makers.

CORE MANAGEMENT

CAMERON GARDNER :: President
Cameron has more than 25 years of diversified communications management experience. As a Group Publisher with the Marketing and Entertainment Group at Rogers Media, Cameron led the Marketing Magazine team at the heart of Canada’s advertising and marketing community. Previously he was Executive Publisher of the Medical Group at Maclean Hunter, and before that Executive Publisher of the International Resource Media Group at Maclean Hunter. Over the years he has worked with dozens of top tier marketers and advertising agencies – to promote their brands to both businesses and consumers – with major events and award shows, custom publishing projects, interactive media, advertising and promotion campaigns and advisory groups. Cameron has a journalism degree from Ryerson.

FRANK SHONIKER :: Business Development
Frank has 29 years of B2B and B2C publishing management experience. He has held senior positions with a number of Canada’s major communications organizations most recently as Director of Sales and Marketing for CLB Media where he played an integral role in the development of integrated print and electronic marketing communications initiatives. Previously, Frank was Publisher and General Manager for The Computer Paper and Toronto Computes! – part of the Trader.com international publishing organization responsible for day-to-day operations as well as the strategic development and implementation of the organizations web strategy. His career began at Maclean Hunter (now Rogers Communications) where he held a publisher position in the business publishing division. He holds a BA from York University.

CHRIS POWELL :: Editorial Director
Chris Powell is an award-winning writer and editor with more than 20 years of experience in the publishing/communications industry. Chris spent nearly a decade at Marketing Magazine, the leading chronicler of the Canadian marketing and advertising industry. As media editor, he oversaw all of the magazine’s coverage of the Canadian media industry. Based in Toronto, Chris’s work has appeared in a wide variety of publications, including Reader’s Digest, UR Magazine, The Hockey News and CAA magazine.
